Philosophy

York Holistic Training aims to offer high quality, fun, professional courses at an affordable price.

Prices are kept competitive as there is less tutor/student contact time than is found on some comparable courses. Our VTCT practitioner courses have been structured to sit somewhere in between on line courses that have little or no face to face tutor contact time, and year long part-time courses often seen at larger training colleges.

York Holistic Training believes that theory work that can be completed at home should be done so. By doing this students are able to work at their own pace and less tutor/student contact time is needed in total. As well as keeping time and financial demands on students down, this means that contact time can largely be used on the practical application of new skills, ensuring students qualify with confidence in their chosen therapy.

Theory work covered at home is reiterated and constantly reinforced throughout practical sessions and tutors are always only a phone call or email away if clarification and guidance is required between tutor contact sessions.

As York Holistic Training is based in a Sports Club there are opportunities throughout the course for students to work on members of the public in a work place setting.

Class sizes are kept small to allow for plenty of one to one teaching.

For CPD day courses, if a student has an area or areas that still require further development at the end of the course, they may join another CPD day for the discipline free of charge until the assessment criteria has been fulfilled.
