- Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology and L3 Body Massage/Sports Massage or equivalent
- In order to participate live you will need a reliable internet connection, be able to use Zoom, have a massage couch and a willing model at home to use intermittently throughout the day
- If you have no-one to work on during the scheduled course date you can still purchase this course and receive the live video recording in order for you to run through the content at a more convenient time for yourself. We can then organise a mutually agreeable time for you to demonstrate your practical skills in a short live observation.

Schedule for the Day
9.30am to 10.15am
Professional Discussion – you do not need your model for this part of the course but you will need to access the manual forwarded to you upon booking.
10.30am to 11.30am
Practical Session 1 – you will be working on your model for this session (your model does not have to be a pregnant woman!), so will need to have your work space organised so you can see your screen whilst at the same time working on your client (or quickly move between the two)
11.45am to 12.45pm
Practical Session 2 – again, you will be working on your model during this session.
1.30pm to 2pm
Practical Re-cap and Question Time – you do not need your model for this session.
2pm to 2.45pm
Practical Routine Walk Through followed by Question Time and Close – you will need your model for the first part of this session. At the end of this session we will organise a time for your practical observation of the full Pregnancy Massage routine. This can be completed later during the day/evening or on a different day and will take approximately 30 minutes.
How is the course assessed?
Assessment is on-going throughout the day. In order to pass this course you just need to demonstrate safe, confident practical application of techniques covered. It is not a test of memory – you are not expected to be able to recall all moves in the correct order by the end of the day! However, on completion of the course you will be observed via Zoom demonstrating the full routine either with the use of a visual prompt (the written routine) or with the tutor verbally prompting each move (most common choice). This is very straight forward and not a test of memory!
