Hot Stone Reflexology

Hot stone reflexology is an adjunct of hot stone massage, which is a type of massage therapy that involves the use of smooth, flat, heated stones to enhance the benefits of traditional massage. On this course you will use the stones in a variety of different ways in order to enhance the effects of traditional reflexology in order to create a deep, relaxing and healing treatment.

  • Materials, equipment and products
  • Health and safety equipment
  • Use of placement stones along the spine and on Chakras
  • Hot stone massage to the muscle groups in the lower leg associated with common foot related pathologies
  • Integrating hot stones into your usual routine
  • Using stones as tools in order to work more deeply into sensitive reflex points and save your hands
  • Using stones to mobilise plantar fascia

Assessment
Assessment takes place throughout the day with a final practical completed at the end of the day to confirm knowledge and understanding.

Pre-Requisite Qualifications
L3 Diploma in Reflexology and L3 Anatomy and Physiology or equivalent.

Accreditation
This course is accredited with ABT and therefore fully insurable.
