Course Format
The face to face days for the Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology course can be completed within 5 months on selected Tuesdays. Most days start at 9.15am and finish at 3.30pm although sometimes it is necessary to finish up to an hour later. When this is the case you will be given plenty of notice. The course consists of approximately 54 hours tutor contact time across 9 contact days. In addition, this reflexology course requires up to 10 hours of home study a week, dependent to some extent on prior knowledge.
Much of your contact time with the tutor will focus on developing your practical techniques and confidence within the complementary therapy setting. The majority of the theory content will be completed by you at home, but will be reinforced throughout your practical sessions. YHT’s Reflexology Practical Vimeo Library will be made available to you upon booking to support practical application of techniques throughout the course.
York Holistic Training endeavours to make the practical element of the course as close to ‘the real thing’ as possible. With this in mind, past students have benefited from spending approximately 15% of their contact time on the reflexology course working on external clients provided by the Centre. A truly invaluable experience, producing confident and competent practitioners with excellent interpersonal skills.
Your tutor will always only be a phone call or email away if clarification and guidance is required between tutor contact sessions.
